Kid CuDi - Dennis, Hook Me Up With Some More Of That Whiskey
Apparently this release last week came from KuDi himself and sees him join in on production. It also features his old track “Ghost” in reverse with some new drums and guitar. Add on top of that some words from Obama and British sci-fi comedy Attack the Block and you’ve got yourself a sufficiently weird and unpredictable tune from our man.

KiD CuDi - Rain
The album KiD CuDi is working on with Dot Da Genius is still under wraps, but CuDi took some time out of his work on that to release a few older tracks that bring us back to his pre-hype days. A mixtape leaked with stuff from 2000-2002, and then a few days later tracks showed up that no one seems to have a read on. They sound as if they’re from the same time period, but to me “Rain” stands out from every track attributed to this mixtape and period in Cudi’s career. I suspect it’s a more recent procution.

Loving this track to death. Theo L has just announced his full length coming in July and done so with this freebie (you pay with a tweet) electo-pop-rap jam that’s got summer written all over it. This guy is flat out killing it…reminds me of the energy coming out of Kid CuDi early on.
