There’s a few female songstresses that seem to be gaining steam despite a rather commercially-unfriendly sound; Lana Del Rey, Birdy, and a few others come to mind. It’s easy to compare these women to the powerhouses like Marina or Florence but it gets a lot tougher as you move towards the more ‘popular’ Gagas of the world. It’s refreshing.
This tune is totally addictive; tender, jazzy, soulful, and catchy all at once.
